Click here for information regarding volunteer opportunities in Haiti,
including a letter from Bishop Joel N. Martinez, Interim General Secretary, General
Board of Global Ministries.
It will be some time before there are opportunities to volunteer directly
in
Haiti through United Methodist Volunteer in Mission teams. UMVIM, SEJ is maintaining
a list, however, of persons interested in working in Haiti once the situation
stabilizes enough for teams to enter. Volunteers will be contacted with more
information as it becomes available and once teams are allowed to enter. To register,
visit UMVIM, SEJ at www.umvim.org.
