2011 Destinations

PERU
March 4 - 13, 2011
$1,750.00 per person

For over twenty years, the NC Conference has maintained a close relationship with the United Methodist Church of Peru. More students are coming from all over Latin America to Lima to receiving training on becoming UMC pastors and this initiative is a priority for the church in Peru. Mission teams are needed to assist in the renovation of The Wesleyan Theological Seminary in Lima.

This mission work team will spend nine days assisting in the construction of dormitories. The team will also witness to the children of Lima through Vacation Bible School and Bible Study in the town of Jose Olaya.

HAITI
November 2 - 11, 2011

UMVIM, NC will send a mission work team to work with the Methodist Church of Haiti in November to assist in the recovery of the devastaing January 2010 earthquake. Project details will be posted here as particular destination is assigned. For additional details on this trip, follow the Team's Facebook Page.

Local churches who desire to serve Christ through mission ministry with Iglesia de Haiti are required to have team leaders with previous mission experience serving in Haiti and are encouraged to send potential team leaders on this trip.
